The “Bred” Air Jordan 1 has been rereleased several times since then, but the same can’t be said for its Celtics counterpart. But that’s about to change this year, as Jordan Brand gears up to retro the “Celtics” Air Jordan 1, this time under the “Lucky Green” moniker.
The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Lucky Green” features colorblocking akin to the original “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1. The sneaker boasts a white leather base with black leather mudguards, eyestays, Swoosh overlays, and ankle collar panels. The titular “Lucky Green” tone colors the sneaker’s laces, heel panels, ankle collar flaps, and “Nike Air” branding on the tongues. Classic “Wings” logos are embossed onto the lateral ankle collar flaps in black.
This colorway features white rubber midsole units that house the model’s signature Air cushioning. The outsoles are done in the Boston Celtics–themed tone.
Are you looking to grab a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Lucky Green” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on April 15th in full-family sizing. Stop by the site to shop our latest Jordan footwear styles today.
For its latest release, the sportswear brand tapped into its roots, dressing the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in a color scheme inspired by Chicago’s skyline. Appropriately named “Skyline,” this upcoming colorway features white leather on the toeboxes and quarter panels. From there, canvas panels are laid overtop – they feature a gradient color combination inspired by the backdrop from Michael Jordan’s famous “Jumpman” photo from 1985. Black Swoosh overlays, laces, Wings logos, and ankle collar panels round out the design.
The upper stands atop rubber midsoles that have been given a vintage-esque “Sail” paint job. Blacked-out rubber outsole units complete the look.
Looking to get your hands on a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Skyline” will be available in-store only on April 8th in men’s sizing.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Game Royal and Varsity Maize” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on February 17th in women’s sizing.
The upcoming women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Low "Desert Black" features black and “Desert” brown colorblocking on the upper made from high-quality leather. The iconic Swoosh overlays are done in the titular tone, providing a sleek contrast against the black background, while Wings-logo embroidery appears on the heels in black. The sneaker is finished off with a clean “Sail” midsole and a “Desert”-colored outsole to match the upper.
The sneaker’s padded tongue and collar offer ample cushioning, while the durable outsole provides excellent traction and support. Whether you're hitting the streets for a casual walk or hitting the court for a pick-up game, these sneakers are designed to keep you comfortable and stylish all day long.

]]>One of the standout features of this Air Jordan 1 Low SE "Concord" colorway is the combination of white leather and black patent leather on the upper, with the classic Jordan "Wings" logo in white. This iteration also features a white midsole and an icy, semi-translucent rubber outsole, like the Air Jordan 11. In another nod to this sneaker’s inspiration, Air Jordan 11–esque lettering covers the footbeds in the titular “Concord” color.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE "Concord" also boasts superior comfort and support thanks to the padded collar and tongue – the Air unit in the heel provides added cushioning. The rubber outsole provides excellent traction and durability, making it a great choice for any activity.

It features a premium white leather base that’s complemented by “True Blue”–colored leather mudguards, eyestays, and Swoosh overlays. The titular tone also dresses the laces and the embossed Wings logos on the lateral ankle collar flaps.
In a nod to the OG Air Jordan 3 colorway, Jordan Brand opts for a rich “Cement Grey” suede for the ankle collar flaps and heel panels. Woven tongue labels are given a “True Blue” finish and feature classic Nike Air branding.
Down below, rubber midsole units are given a white paint job, while rubber outsoles take on a “Cement Grey” color.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “True Blue” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on January 14thin full-family sizing.

Like the aforementioned releases, this upcoming colorway comes outfitted with “Metallic Silver” Swoosh overlays and features white leather at the toeboxes, side panels, and ankle collars. But unlike those past pairs, this new version features lush “Gorge Green” overlays on the mudguards, eyestays, heel panels, and ankle-collar flaps. “Nike Air”–branded tongue tabs and jewel Wings logos round out the upper.
Moving towards the sole, you’ll find stark white rubber midsoles, which sit atop rubber outsole units done in the titular “Gorge Green” hue.
Looking to secure a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gorge Green” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on December 20th in men’s and grade-school sizes.
]]>Officially dubbed the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” via Jordan Brand, this upcoming release puts a twist on the classic colorway with cracked-leather accents on the toeboxes, side panels, and ankle collars, which give the sneaker an aged look. Black Swoosh overlays, Nike Air–branded tongue tabs, and embossed Wings logos round out the upper.
Rubber midsole units, which are done in a vintage-inspired “Sail” color, and aged “Varsity Red” rubber outsoles add to the overall effect.
The sneaker’s story doesn’t end with the silhouette itself – the release comes packaged in a weathered box with a mismatched top and features an “old, handwritten” receipt from Sandy Bros. Sports Depot.
Looking to score a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” is set to release on DTLR.com and DTLR Stores on November 19th in kids' sizes with the mens release coming soon. Release date and time will be announced via our social channels.
]]>Jeans and sneakers go together like peanut butter and jelly – it’s a pairing that stands the test of time. But what about when denim is integrated into a pair of sneakers? Well, that’s more like mac and cheese: slightly more challenging to put together, but extremely satisfying when done correctly.
Denim material being used on sneakers is certainly not a new concept, but it has been getting a fair amount of play as of late. This year, we’ve seen the material appear on the Air Max 90 “Denim” and Air Max 1 “Dirty Denim,” and it’s set to grace the panels of the Air Jordan 1 High later this month.
The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Denim” features a supple tumbled-leather base done in white. From there, lightly frayed, washed denim is laid over the mudguards, eyestays, heels, and ankle collar flaps. The titular material is also used for the signature side-panel Swoosh overlays, as well as the tongues. On the lateral ankle-collar flaps, familiar Wings logos are given a distressed look, while metallic gold lace deubrés accent the upper.
This new colorway is finished simply with white rubber midsoles and pale-blue rubber outsoles.
Looking to get your hands on a pair? The women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Denim” will be available on DTLR.com and at DTLR stores on September 22nd. It will also be available in pre-school and infant sizes.
]]>The Air Jordan 1 High is a silhouette that the sneaker world can’t get enough of at the moment. As such, the model has seen countless iterations with various materials, colors, and cuts over the years to keep up with the ever-increasing demand. But if you think you’ve seen it all, you’d be wrong.
Later this month, Jordan Brand is set to release a new women’s-exclusive take on the model, dubbed the Air Jordan 1 High “Newstalgia.”
By combining the words “new” and “nostalgia,” the brand has invented one that best exemplifies the feeling that this colorway is meant to give Jordan enthusiasts. The nostalgic portion of the two-syllable noun is no-doubt the silhouette itself – the original Air Jordan 1 High from 1985 – and the “Varsity Red”-and-white color scheme, which mimics the one from the “New Beginnings” pack from 2020.
So then, what’s new about the release? The addition of fuzzy chenille Swooshes – like ones used for letterman jackets – is an unexpected twist. They pop off the white base and complement the “Varsity Red” leather overlays found throughout. That same chenille material is also featured on the sneaker’s removable hangtag.
The two-toned proposition is contrasted by “Light Iron Ore” hits at the tongue and along the ankle collars. White rubber midsole units support the upper, while “Varsity Red” rubber outsoles cap off the colorway. Looking to grab a pair? Head over to DTLR.com or your nearest DTLR store on July 23rd. Retail is set at $170.
]]>It was 1999 when pictures started to surface around the internet of a pair of Black and Yellow Nike Air Dunks with a Black Wu-Tang Clan logo stitched on the heal. The sneaker head scene went ballistic. The Wu-Tang Dunks shut down the internet before shutting down the internet was even a thing. Collectors searched high and low for a pair and still, to this day, there’s maybe less than a dozen or so pairs in circulation which is why with a strong resemblance to the Wu-Tang Clan Dunks the next Air Jordan 1 High Retro release is creating a buzz.
Black tumbled leather makes up the toe box, side panel, and ankle collar. In contrast, Pollen colored leather is used for the overlays which includes the toe, up the laces, around the ankle and down around the heal. The Nike Swoosh also sports the Pollen color giving the pair a strong resemblance to the aforementioned Dunks. The icons Wings logo is stamped in Black just below the ankle and a Pollen tag with a Black check and White Nike Air is stitched on the tongue. To complete the look, everything sits atop White midsoles and Pollen soles.
Given the iconic resemblance to the famous Wu-Tang Clan Dunks, I do not see these sitting on the shelves for very long.
It’s true, you can still rock pastels well into the dog days of summer which makes the next Air Jordan Retro 1 High a must-have in the rotation. The “Seafoam” colorway of the coveted Air Jordan 1 design is a women’s exclusive. This clean colorway is comprised of several premium materials which I’ll break down below.
First off, it’s hard not to notice that this pair spares no expense when it comes to material selections. White, buttery leather makes up the side panels, toe box, and ankle collar. In contrast, Seafoam suede is used for the overlays which include the toe, up along the laces, and extends back to the ankle and around the heal. The Nike Swoosh is also colored in Seafoam. The pair sits atop a White midsole with a Seafoam sole. Of course, you can rock these with plain White laces or elect to make a statement with the Healing Orange accented White laces, which would be my vote.
While these are just for the ladies, there’s no rule that says everyone can’t enjoy them. For complete release and raffle information make sure you bookmark our site and follow us on social.
As a dedicated sneaker enthusiast, you should have a closer look at this high-heat Jordan Retro 1 High. This iteration has a dynamic Black/Grey color block combination that pretty much goes with everything! It appears this pair holds the same color arrangement as the OG Shadow color way. With that, I think it's safe to say that these are an absolute must-have for sneaker heads and Jordan fans alike.
Stepping up in a fan-favorite high-top silhouette, the upper sets on black leather base while light grey suede overlays run from the toe box to the heel. Across the side panels, the shoe product displays Nike iconic Swoosh logo completed with MJ's wings emblem on the lateral ankle collar and Jumpman branding on tongue.
This head-turning Jordan 1 provides an insane amount of cushioning and comfort. Striding along underfoot is a full-length crisp midsole and Nike Air technology. Finishing off is a black rubber outsole underfoot that provides better traction on any surface.
The Air Jordan spring lineup swings into full force with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “University Blue”. Arguably, the University Blue 1’s are one of the most highly anticipated releases of the season, and here’s a good reason why. The pair matches the classic design of the Air Jordan 1 with Jordan’s Alma Mater color palette.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “University Blue” is so well done that when I sat down to write this article, I simply stared at the high-resolution images wondering “where do I even start”. The smooth suede of the lace holders, forefoot, ankle collar overlay and heal colored in University Blue just draw you into their goodness. The use of rich tumbled leather in White for the toe box and mid panel provide a nice contrast to the University Blue. The same goes for the tumbled leather Black Nike Swoosh and ankle collar - they both add just enough dark contrast without taking away from the Blue tones of the sneaker. To finish off the look, all of this goodness sits atop a White midsole and University Blue sole.
I really can’t personally tell you the last time a sneaker colorway was this well done - however, it could be that I’m a huge Blue fan or that I live 30 minutes from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Regardless of the reason, these Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG University Blues are not going to last long this Saturday, March 6th. In fact, I’ve already seen tweets from OG collectors asking anyone and everyone for a hand in grabbing their pair. Do not sleep on this release as they are a must-have for the collection. Be sure to follow our social accounts and refresh the blog for all release and raffle info. Good luck out there!
When it comes to fashion, every break-out designer line or brand has its time to shine. Once that time elapsed, another style trend comes into the forefront to replace what was there prior. For a lot of brands, they never make a glorious comeback. While for others, they emerge from the archives to inspire the next generation to create something similar yet distinct for the newbies in the game. Brand Jordan has stood the test of time by looking into the past to make the present look fresher than ever.
For example, the Air Jordan 1 is considered an OG sneaker model that has sentimental value to old heads and young people alike. One of the models that possess the purple heart of war against time is the “Metallic Purple” colorway released back in 1985. Being a cool player exclusive at the time for Men's sizes back in the day is now a fire release for women in the revamped “Court Purple” colorway. The overall shoe is pristine White from the upper on down. Laced in durable leather, the texture can handle all footing possibilities on the hardwood, blacktop, and more. Inside of the shoe is a luxurious satin sock liner that provides a clear upgrade from its predecessor. Purple swooshes are checked to perfection with Jumpman wing logos that keep the original in the front of our minds, while on the back of the sneaker. Overall, this kick is a solid remix that didn’t disgrace what has been made previously. It’s finally time for the ladies to enjoy some of the purple power.
Cyber Monday’s Jordan drop does not disappoint as the brand is releasing their most iconic sneaker, the Air Jordan 1, in another highly anticipated colorway. Since the release of ESPN’s “The Last Dance”, a documentary highlighting the Chicago Bulls in the ’90s, the Air Jordan line has seen a considerable boost in sales and Nike continues to ride the wave with this release.
For this Air Jordan 1 Retro, the iconic design is predominately comprised of Black patent leather which was made famous on a shoe by Tinker Hatfield on the Air Jordan XI’s. The toe box, fore forefoot, lateral sides, ankle, and ankle flaps are all covered in Black patent giving the shoe stealth and sleek look. A Metallic Gold swoosh outlined in Gold stitching graces both the exterior and interior laterals while the infamous Air Jordan Wings logo in Gold is found on the exterior ankle flap. The ankle collars are dressed in the same Metallic Gold but in a satin finish which is a nice contrast in texture to the pair. Black midsoles with Metallic Gold stitching and Black outsoles help finish off the stealth look.
The mix of premium materials and rich color selection both add to the luxurious feel of this particular Air Jordan 1 Retro. Jordan Brand continues to step up and deliver great colorways of their iconic sneakers and this one is no different. These won’t last long, so make sure you keep it locked on our social and blog for store and release information.
There’s a sense of pride you get from putting on that jacket for the first time. It’s a symbol of the countless hours you’ve put your body through to perfect your craft. It’s an accomplishment not to be taken lightly and through a diverse mix of colors, materials, and premium accents much like a letterman jacket, the latest Air Jordan 1 Mid “Let(her)man” pays tribute to athletes at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). The same sense of pride you get from a jacket should be the same feeling you get as you lace up the “Let(her)mans”.
Starting at the bottom and working our way up the sneaker, the Let(her)man sits on a Sail midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole. Black premium leather dresses the forefoot and heel of the shoe while Sail is used on the toe box, lateral, collar, and tongue in a mix of leather and corduroy. Gym Red overlays create a nice contrast giving the shoe that University look while the Blue-tinted felt Swoosh outlined in Gold tips the hat to the back of a letterman jacket design. On the tongue, you’ll find a Gold-stitched Jumpman with “AIR” underneath atop a Black patch and the iconic Wings logo can be found on the ankle collar in Metallic Gold.
The Air Jordan 1 gets another updated colorway and one that has served up quite the hype around its release. A lot of the hype stems from their similar resemblance to the limited and popular release, the Black Toe Union Los Angeles pair. While the Union LA pair are striking, you’d have to shell out close to $2,000 to add them to your collection which makes the “Smoke Grey” colorway a much more attractive buy at $170 MSRP.
This release features Light Grey suede throughout the forefoot, midfoot, and heel. Contrasting White leather is used for the profile panel and toe box while white nylon runs up the tongue. Varsity Red leather with a Black Stamped Wings logo is found on the ankle collar and is set off by Black suede collar underlays. Finishing touches include a black suede swoosh, black soles, and black tongue tags featuring “Nike Air” in Varsity Red. Together, these colors bring a tasteful arrangement to the Air Jordan 1. You get the sense that Jordan Brand wanted to create a subtle but striking shoe and they certainly delivered.
These will certainly go fast so make sure you stay locked in on our website and social for the latest stores and raffle information.
With so much going on in the world right now, people are looking for some normalcy and comfort to lift their spirits. While release dates have been moved around and rescheduled, there is no doubt that people have been marking their calendars for the releases they really want. JB started off their 2020 Retro 1 releases with the ’Satin’ Jordan 1 back in January and then brought out the heat during ASW with the Air Jordan 1 Hi 85, New Beginnings Pack and the Women’s UNC to Chicago pair and now they’re picking up right where they left off.
Next up for Jordan Brand is a new summer-ready Air Jordan Retro 1 High in a clean colorway that sneakerheads are geeked about. Court Purple takes over the silhouette in a very OG-Esque color blocking that doesn’t disappoint. While this isn’t the first time Jordan has blessed us with a Court Purple Retro 1, you may remember that back in 2018 they gave us a similar Retro but it came with Purple on the toe-box while this one features a more clean makeup with White on the toe-box and tongue. Now, if you missed out on the first pair you won’t want to miss this next release. This pair features a clean one-two punch of White and Court Purple throughout the upper and sole and is complimented with black detailing on the Wings logo and the Nike Air tab on the tongue. Start Spring in style by breaking out the Air Jordan Retro 1 High OG ‘Court Purple’.
