It’s not every day that Jordan Brand rolls out a new twist on its flagship model, the Air Jordan 1. So, when it does happen, it’s a special occasion that calls for celebration. And later this month, the Jumpman-clad sportswear brand will be doing just that by releasing a new “Method of Make” series highlighted by Mike’s first signature silhouette.

The “Method of Make” series introduces a new era of sneaker design, celebrating individuality and setting the bar for next-level style. What makes these Air Jordan 1s stand out are the meticulous design details that redefine luxury. Soft-touch textiles on the tongue and underlays provide a tactile experience, elevating the overall feel of the sneakers. The unlined toe box is a nod to deconstructed comfort, emphasizing the wearer's ease without compromising style.

Exaggerated proportions play a pivotal role in visually setting the Air Jordan 1 “Method of Make” apart from the rest. This unique design element ensures that these J’s will catch eyes and turn heads wherever you go.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 13th, as the Air Jordan 1 High “Method of Make” makes its debut in-store and online at DTLR.com in women’s sizes.

This eye-catching accent brings a unique shine to the shoe, catching attention with every step. The chrome detailing extends to the tongue tabs, completing the sleek aesthetic.

When you picture the Air Jordan 1 in your mind, you likely envision the silhouette done in smooth leather – that’s how it’s been done since its initial release in 1985. But every once in a while, lush suede makes its way onto the heritage basketball model. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s a special occasion.

The forthcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black and Smoke Grey” marks one of those occasions, paying homage to the silhouette’s roots while bringing a fresh twist to the classic design.

It features a smooth white leather upper with “Smoke Grey” panels laid overtop. As a nod to its heritage, the sneaker features white wings logos on the ankle collars, symbolizing the timeless legacy of Jordan Brand. The classic black-and-red Nike Air tags on the tongues further accentuate the sneaker's iconic status.

Down below, the sneaker features rubber midsole units done in an aged “Sail” tone. Black rubber outsoles complete the design.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black and Smoke Grey” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on June 10th. Mark your calendars and set your alarms.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is a staple in sneaker culture and is treated as such by the brand that produces it. The sheer output of Jordan 1s is rivaled only by the ubiquitous Nike Dunk – and that’s a good thing. Because for years, it was a near-impossible task to get your hands on an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, but now that tide is starting to shift.

For its latest Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG offering, Jordan Brand has opted for a light pink color palette to get everyone ready for spring. This women’s-exclusive take boasts a white leather upper with supple pink suede mudguards, eyestays, Swoosh overlays, heels, and ankle-collar flaps. The ankle collars themselves are done in an earthy “Muslin” suede.

Down below, the “Washed Pink” Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG features “Sail” rubber midsoles, giving the sneaker an aged look. The colorway is complete with “Atmosphere” rubber outsole units.

Looking to cop? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Washed Pink” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on April 22nd in women’s, pre-school, and infant sizes.

Back in 2009, Jordan Brand released its “Defining Moments Pack,” which included two different versions of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. The pack contained the classic Black and Red Air Jordan 1, a nod to Jordan’s Bulls, as well as a new “Celtics” colorway – an homage to Jordan dropping 63 on the Boston-based team in Game 2 of their 1986 playoff matchup.

The “Bred” Air Jordan 1 has been rereleased several times since then, but the same can’t be said for its Celtics counterpart. But that’s about to change this year, as Jordan Brand gears up to retro the “Celtics” Air Jordan 1, this time under the “Lucky Green” moniker.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Lucky Green” features colorblocking akin to the original “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1. The sneaker boasts a white leather base with black leather mudguards, eyestays, Swoosh overlays, and ankle collar panels. The titular “Lucky Green” tone colors the sneaker’s laces, heel panels, ankle collar flaps, and “Nike Air” branding on the tongues. Classic “Wings” logos are embossed onto the lateral ankle collar flaps in black.

This colorway features white rubber midsole units that house the model’s signature Air cushioning. The outsoles are done in the Boston Celtics–themed tone.

Are you looking to grab a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Lucky Green” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on April 15th in full-family sizing. Stop by the site to shop our latest Jordan footwear styles today.

Jordan Brand has mastered the art of storytelling in the sneaker space. And even after all these years, there’s no shortage of stories to tell – Michael Jordan’s career had more twists, turns, and nuances than your favorite mystery novel.

For its latest release, the sportswear brand tapped into its roots, dressing the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in a color scheme inspired by Chicago’s skyline. Appropriately named “Skyline,” this upcoming colorway features white leather on the toeboxes and quarter panels. From there, canvas panels are laid overtop – they feature a gradient color combination inspired by the backdrop from Michael Jordan’s famous “Jumpman” photo from 1985. Black Swoosh overlays, laces, Wings logos, and ankle collar panels round out the design.

The upper stands atop rubber midsoles that have been given a vintage-esque “Sail” paint job. Blacked-out rubber outsole units complete the look.

Looking to get your hands on a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Skyline” will be available in-store only on April 8th in men’s sizing.

Fans of Michael Jordan and his eponymous sneaker label are no doubt familiar with the G.O.A.T.’s early years at Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. As the story goes, Jordan was cut from the Varsity team as a sophomore at the school – an inciting moment that would lead young Mike to become the player we all know today.

Whether or not that tale is completely accurate is up for discussion, but regardless, Laney High School has continued to be a source of inspiration for Jordan and his sneaker line throughout the years. The first “Laney” colorway graced the panels of the Air Jordan 14 Low in 1999. The blue-and-yellow color combination has appeared on many other Jordan models since then and is set to land on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG later this month.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Game Royal and Varsity Maize” features a leather upper done in the school’s blue and yellow tones, with a white rubber midsole and blue rubber outsole. Classic "Nike Air" branding can be found on the tongue, while the classic "Wings" logo is stamped on the lateral ankle-collar flaps of the shoe.

Its cushioned insole provides support for all-day wear, while the padded collar offers added comfort. The high-top design also offers extra ankle support, making these shoes a great choice for women who are always on the move.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Game Royal and Varsity Maize” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on February 17th in women’s sizing.

This forthcoming release fuses two Jordan Brand classics in celebration of the Air Jordan 3’s 35th anniversary. It features a premium white leather base that’s complemented by “True Blue”–colored leather mudguards, eyestays, and Swoosh overlays. In a nod to the OG Air Jordan 3 colorway, Jordan Brand opts for a rich “Cement Grey” suede for the ankle collar flaps and heel panels. Woven tongue labels are given a “True Blue” finish and feature classic Nike Air branding.

Jordan Brand is back with a new Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway from its Holiday 2022 Retro lineup. It’s been dubbed “Gorge Green” and features similar colorblocking to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bordeaux” from last year, as well as the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG COJP “Midnight Navy” from 2020.

Like the aforementioned releases, this upcoming colorway comes outfitted with “Metallic Silver” Swoosh overlays and features white leather at the toeboxes, side panels, and ankle collars. But unlike those past pairs, this new version features lush “Gorge Green” overlays on the mudguards, eyestays, heel panels, and ankle-collar flaps. “Nike Air”–branded tongue tabs and jewel Wings logos round out the upper.

Moving towards the sole, you’ll find stark white rubber midsoles, which sit atop rubber outsole units done in the titular “Gorge Green” hue.

It’s been called the “Lost & Found,” “Reimagined,” and “Chicago,” but regardless of its appointed moniker, it’s sure to be in contention for sneaker of the year. This new take on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s original colorway celebrates the thrill of scoring a vintage grail and is set to land later this month.

Officially dubbed the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” via Jordan Brand, this upcoming release puts a twist on the classic colorway with cracked-leather accents on the toeboxes, side panels, and ankle collars, which give the sneaker an aged look. Black Swoosh overlays, Nike Air–branded tongue tabs, and embossed Wings logos round out the upper.

Rubber midsole units, which are done in a vintage-inspired “Sail” color, and aged “Varsity Red” rubber outsoles add to the overall effect.

The sneaker’s story doesn’t end with the silhouette itself – the release comes packaged in a weathered box with a mismatched top and features an “old, handwritten” receipt from Sandy Bros. Sports Depot.

Looking to score a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” is set to release on DTLR.com and DTLR Stores on November 19th in kids' sizes with the mens release coming soon. Release date and time will be announced via our social channels.

Back in 2015, Jordan Brand unveiled a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 inspired by the uniform Mike wore during an exhibition tour in Italy in 1985. The colorway was dubbed the “Shattered Backboard,” in reference to Michael Jordan’s destructive dunk during the infamous match.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard” has become increasingly coveted since its initial launch thanks to its clean blocking, luxe leather, and interesting backstory. Its popularity has spawned a handful of other variants in the years since its release and it looks like we’re going to see another one land later this month.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Starfish” follows the blueprint of the 2015 pair with a buttery, semi-matte faux leather upper done in the titular “Starfish” and white. The two-toned base is broken up with autumnal “Cacao Wow”-brown ankle collar panels, which shroud the fleece-lined interior.

Standard rubber midsole units are given a vintage “Sail” finish, while the outsoles are done in the ever-present “Starfish” hue.

The women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Starfish” will be available at DTLR.com and DTLR stores on October 27th for a retail price of $180.
