DTLR x UGG Presents 'A Winter Slay'

DTLR VILLA partnered with UGG to host “A Winter Slay: Makeover Mixer” at our flagship store in Mondawmin Mall. With over 18 girls and their parents, we created energy while building lasting connections between UGG and our customers. We teamed up with a local mentoring group in Baltimore called Girl Talk right before the holidays to spread cheer and empower young girls to sparkle and shine. DTLR VILLA gave away 24 pairs of sparkling sequin UGGs and free makeovers to Girl Talk mentees just in time for Christmas. Moms, grand moms, and aunties attended with the girls, creating many shareable moments for the entire family. Local influencer, Ziggy Ziya (@ZiggyZiya) also attended the event. With the help of UGG, we were able to provide four professional make-up artists, music by 7-year-old @dja_eazy, hot chocolate and cupcakes by @bdazzlediserika, a photo booth and a UGG fitting area fit for young Queens. Mall patrons passing by stopped in to see what was going on as they watched girls get their makeup done in the window of our store. Yet, the most exciting reaction was a grandmother holding back tears at the sight of her granddaughter’s sparkling beauty after getting her makeup done. At the end a parent came over to thank the DTLR Villa team for providing her daughter with an opportunity as fun as A Winter Slay.
